What Is a Commercial Pilot Certificate?
The Commercial Pilot Certificate allows you to be compensated for your flying skills, opening doors to careers such as:
Charter and corporate flying.

This certificate also hones your abilities, ensuring you operate at a professional level with precision, safety, and efficiency.
Eligibility Requirements
To begin your Commercial Pilot Training, you must:
Hold a valid Private Pilot Certificate.
Be at least 18 years old.
Hold a valid FAA medical certificate.
Have logged the required flight experience, including:
250 total flight hours.
100 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
50 hours of cross-country flight time.
Our instructors will review your logbook to ensure you meet all prerequisites and guide you through any additional training you may need.

Aircraft
You’ll train in our Pipistrel Alpha Trainer and other suitable aircraft, depending on the maneuvers required and your training stage. Each aircraft is meticulously maintained to ensure safety and reliability. We also partner with Icarus TB&R who provide a Van's RV-12, and a Remos GX. The Pipistrel Alpha Trainer and the RV-12 count as a TAA for 14 CFR 61.129(a)(3)(ii).
Cost of Training
The total cost of your training will depend on your current experience and flight time requirements. Typical expenses include:
Aircraft rental: $155/hour.
Flight instruction: $70/hour.
Knowledge test and practical exam fees (paid to the FAA or designated examiners).
